Ghana Christian Family Foundation donates to the Aged in Elmina Deanery
The Ghana Christian Family Foundation (GCFF) has donated food items and other materials worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to some aged in the Elmina deanery of the Catholic Archdiocese of Cape Coast. The beneficiaries came from Cape Coast, SNNIT, Elmina, Amisano, Ola, Ahotokrom, Abrem Agona and Komenda. This gesture forms part of the foundation’s social responsibilities and Covid -19 relief programme which according to coordinator will be done throughout the Archdiocese.
The foundation, is committed to transforming families through Christ’s love – hence the decision to visit homebound and needy families to share with them, the love of God through the distribution of the food package (rice, cooking oil, tomato Puree, tinned mackerel)
In his closing remarks during the programme at St John the Evangelist Parish, Abrem Agona, on September 15th 2020, Mr. Nicholas Augustus Amoako, Coordinator, GCFF said “This is the time to demonstrate the father’s love, and we can rightly do that when we reach out to families and individuals in distress/hardship in this Covid – 19 times.”
The beneficiaries also thanked and expressed their gratitude to the foundation for the love shown them and like Oliver Twist asked for more in the future.

The Ghana Christian Family Foundation(GCFF) is a non-profit organization operating in Ghana and USA formed by Christian men and women, who are devoted to the transformation of families in Ghana and other parts of the world through Christ’s love. They also seek to bring Christ’s love to families through advocacy and outreach programs that help to preserve and promote the family as God’s foundation upon which society and the Church are built.
