Bro. Joseph Contessi clocks 80 years

A thanksgiving mass was held on Sunday, 7th March, 2021 at the Sacred Heart Parish, Penkwase a suburb of Sunyani in honour of Rev. Bro. Joseph Contessi of the Franciscan Friars. Most Rev. Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi, the Bishop of the Sunyani Diocese was the main celebrant.

In a brief remark, Bishop Gyamfi expressed his gratitude to Rev. Bro. Contessi for his selfless service to the country and most especially Sunyani Diocese throughout his missionary life. He was especially grateful to him for his zeal towards the growth of the Youth Apostolate.

A cake was cut in his honour after the mass led by Rev. Bro. Joseph Contessi with support from Most Rev. Matthew Gyamfi, Rev. Fr. Anthony Akumah (Parish Priest) and his Associate Priests.
