The 28thth of September, 2020 was a memorable day for the children at the Egyam Children’s home. The outfit was graced with a set of donated items comprising used clothes, provisions, drinks, toiletries, and many other items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to enhance their livelihood. The generous donor was El Manuel Foundation.
The CEO of the foundation, Mr Emmanuel Arkoh (known in showbiz as EL Manuel),who is a musician made it clear that he had difficulties when growing up, and so his motivation to always embark on such an exercise to help bring support and relief to children in such situation.
The foundation embarked on the donation exercise to mark their 4th year of their mega Christian project titled Yibimaorphanage concert.
Mrs Rosemond Brown Coggin, who is the Patron of the foundation donated the items on behalf of the Foundation. In her message she told the children of the Home to feel loved and have that sense of belongingness in the society and also reminded them to take their crafts and talents seriously so that they can become important and influential people in the Society.
She also acknowledged the support of some institutions like Mobicrane Gh ltd, Jasmine Saloon and Spa, Icon Catering services and Primps.
Sis Gladys, FST also expressed gratitude on behalf of the orphanage.
EL Manuel Foundation is a Charity organization owned by Emmanuel Arkoh Alias (EL Manuel) and a board of trustees with a common vision and goal of reaching out to the outer communities to give hope especially to the Poor, the Needy and the Orphans.
Presently, the Egyam Orphanage home is being managed by the Daughters of the Most Holy Trinity (FST) for the Catholic Diocese of Sekondi-Takoradi who are the owners of the project.
