You Are Ambassadors Of Joy – Bishop Attakruh tells Catholics

Most Rev. John Baptist Attakruh, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sekondi-Takoradi has called on Catholics to see themselves as ambassadors of joy.

Bishop Attakruh made the call when delivering the homily at the annual diocesan prilgrimage to the Our Lady of Fatima Sanctuary at Nawuley.

He called on Catholics to draw inspiration from the prophet Isaiah who spoke words of hope and joy to the people of his days and urge Catholics to do the same.

The Prelate added that it is always joy to be with the lord even in the midst of difficulties.

For the Lord gives meaning to our suffering, he assures us of something beyond what we see, and that is his love.

Bishop Attakruh challenged the gathering to search for the Lord with patience as they await His promise.

This year’s prilgrimage witnessed the attendance of Priests and Religious from the Diocese of Sekondi-Takoradi and scores of the Christ’s Faithful
