Accra Archdiocese priestly ordination

A total number of six deacons are set to be ordained on the 19^th of September, 2020 by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Cape Coast , Most Rev. Charles Gabriel Palmer Buckle.

The six to be ordained to the holy order of priesthood are :

1. Rev John Armah Koufie
2. Rev Isaac Gyasi Amoateng
3. Rev Emaunuel Mensah Larnyoh
4. Rev Emmanuel Boateng
5. Rev Dominic Amanor
6. Rev Bernard Adu-Tawiah Sor

The priesthood is one of the three holy orders of the Catholic Church. The other two orders are the bishops and the deacons. Catholic priest are ordained by bishops through the sacrament of Holy orders.

The rite of ordination which makes one a priest will be conferred on the six who have rightly served as deacons for a period of time will take place at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, Adabraka –  Accra In the Accra Archdiocese. Catholics all over are expected to offer their support to them in prayers as they prepare to begin their ministry of priesthood.
