As part of their activities to mark their Golden Jubilee, members of the NOBLE ORDER OF LADIES OF MARSHAL on the 25th day of September 2020 organized quiz competitions for the Junior Orders.

With Rev. Fr. James Obour as the quiz master and with the special assistance of Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Kwabena Effah Adjei, Worthy Brothers Thomas Amponsah and Eric Asiedu, the contestants were taken through myriads of questions related to the Church’s doctrine, life and activities of the Ever Glorious Blessed Virgin Mary, history of Ladies of Marshal, life of Sir James Marshall, Chapters in the Books of Luke and Genesis of the Holy Bible.

Contestants were divided into five regions:

Accra East, Accra West and Tema Region which was represented by Jnr. Br. Kingsley Mensah and Jnr. Sis. Samantha Bandoh,

Ashanti/ Bono/ Bono East and Ahafo Regions represented by Jnr. Bro. Betrand Dagoe and Jnr. Sr. Ama Asabo Serebour,

Eastern, Volta and Oti Regions were represented by Jnr. Br. Eric Xeflide and Jnr. Sis. Clementina Adzato.

Also Central/ Western and Western North Regions were represented by Jnr. Br. Gideon Andoh and Jnr. Sis Zuliyeta Webegana Kodam and

Upper East/ Upper West/ Savannah and North East Regions were represented by Jnr. Br. Herbert Baataar and Jnr Sis. Blessing Ziekye.

At the end of the quiz competition, Upper East/ Upper West/ Savannah and North East Regions emerged as the winners for the day with total points of 86 whiles the Central/ Western and Western North Regions came second total points of 83. Ashanti/ Bono/ and Bono East Regions also came third with a total points of 78. Eastern/ Volta and Oti Regions placed fourth with a total points of 75 with Accra East/ Accra West and Tema Regions placing the fifth position with total points of 69.

The winners received the Grand Court Award. The Supreme Director’s Award went to the group that placed second whiles the 3rd winners received the Supreme Knight’s Award. The fourth group according to performance received the Grand Lady’s Award and the Supreme Youth and Grand Youth Coordinators Award was given to the fifth position.
