Sunyani Diocese: 5 SVI Sisters profess Vows

Five sisters of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word in the Catholic Diocese of Sunyani on Saturday, 3rd October, 2020 professed their First Vows. The well attended and colourful event was held at the Christ the King Cathedral, Sunyani. The ceremony was graced by the Bishop, Priests and Religious from the Sunyani Diocese and beyond as well as families and well-wishers of the candidates.

They include Sisters Sarah Aberba and Elizabeth Nyaga who professed their first vows whilst Sisters Emelia Fekaa Pepra, Hagar Amponsah and Paulina Tamea professed their final vows.

In his homily, Bishop Gyamfi encouraged the candidates to see themselves as God’s chosen ones and inspire God’s people with kindness and respect no matter the odds that may come their way.
